FNU Was Invited to Attend the Signing Ceremony for Deepening Cooperation between Fujian Province and Ceará State


On March 30, the online signing ceremony for deepening cooperation between Fujian Province and the State of Ceará, Brazil was held. Yan Yuqing, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Recife, Chen Chuxin and Huang Shaorong, Director-General and Deputy Director-General of Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, Wang Yang, Deputy Director-General of the Education Department of Fujian Province, Cesar Ribeiro, Director-General of the International Relations Department of Ceará State, Carlos Decimo, Director-General of the Science and Technology and Higher Education Department, and leaders of colleges and universities in Fujian Province and Ceará State, including FNU, attended the ceremony. Chen Chuxin and Cesar Ribeiro signed the Memorandum on Establishing Silk Road Partnership between Fujian Province of the People's Republic of China and Ceará State of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

Chen Qinghua, vice president of FNU, signed an inter-school cooperation agreement with Albuquerque, vice president of Universidade Federal do Ceará, and delivered a speech at the signing ceremony for deepening cooperation. Chen Qinghua said that since participating in the higher education cooperation and exchange conference between Fujian Province and Ceará State held in November 2021, FNU has been maintaining close communication and contact with Universidade Federal do Ceará. The signing of the cooperation agreement is the beginning of the deepening cooperation between the two universities, and FNU will actively deepen and substantiate cooperation between the two sides, and promote exchanges and mutual learning between China and Brazil, Chen said.
